Health and Wellness
Mission Statement: To provide and foster holistic promotion of health and well being with the Nativity congregation and the community.
The Vision of Health Promotion:
- Provide blood pressure checks on the third Sunday of the month.
- Serve as site for other community agencies in providing services such as flu clinics.
- Provide private consultations regarding health issues.
- Teach health classes and provide printed health prevention information.
- Write articles for the newsletter.
- Provide resources and help to navigate the healthcare system.
- Connect persons to community resources.
- Communicate with other ministries within the congregation and the Pastor to collaborate any resource or visit needed by a congregational member.
- Incorporate holistic and spiritual values.
