Youth Ministry
Every person is accepted. All questions are welcomed.
Our Middle School and High School groups exist as a safe, welcoming space where every middle schooler or high schooler feels accepted, affirmed, cared for, and introduced into God's larger story.
Middle School
We are joining in partnership with Bend Church and Storydwelling for a middle school youth group; Bend Youth Collective. Join us on Sundays from 4:00-6:30pm at Bend Church for some dinner and youth activities.
High School
We have hosted special events, weekend retreats, and participated in a week-long Immersion Trip and hope these things will continue in 2026 and 2027.
Confirmation
The classes provide a survey of the Scriptures and Christian ethics, along with an understanding of the Luther's Small Catechism.
During the summer, confirmation class is on pause, and will pick back up in the fall.
Children's Service
Children's Ministry is seeking a few more teachers!!!
If you are looking to help out in children's ministry, Nativity is looking for a few more teachers for our children's church. Generally speaking, it is about a once a month commitment, and the materials are ready to go! We often have both an elementary age group as well as a pre-school and kindergarten age group. Please reach out to the office to get in touch with Renee, our Children's Ministry leader, if you are interested in helping out! The program runs from the middle of September to early June!
Sunday Fun Day
Sunday Fun Day is the last Sunday of every month from 2:00-4:30, (except in December) for families with one or more children in preschool or elementary school. The evenings are geared for the whole family to enjoy each other and with other families. Past events have included water play in the summer, family hikes at Alpen Glow park, Glow-in-the-Dark Night, Pumpkin Carving Party, Turkey Bowling, Gingerbread Nativity Scene Party, and more. Sunday Fun Day's are for everyone, so round up your entire family: grandparents, siblings, and whoever wants to come.
Vacation Bible School
A big thank you to all who helped make a fun-filled VBS week this year! Thank you also to everyone who donated items to VBS, and a huge thank you to our campers too! A delightful group of children made it a special week for all.
